Volcano spit me back out

Hi folks just a quick note to say thanks for all the texts e-mails and comments of support, mixed with just the right amount of disrespect. Friends from as far away as Kiel, Wisconsin have chimed in. Okay maybe Key West Kuwait is farther away than that. Old friends, new friends, my awesome neighbors and my great family. I'll be sure to post some disgusting surgery pictures when I'm up to it. Thanks again.

You're the best -
We will be watching every day to see your progress. After all, it's too cold to be outside enjoying Key West, so we are all inside tuned into your blog.
By the end of the week it will be in the 80s, so we're expecting lots of PROGRESS before then!!!

I can't believe that you're walking around and blogging just 3 days after this huge surgery. You're a superhero!

I Don't want to ruin it for your friends from Keywest, but Im sending you good vibes all the way from Kuwait!

That's two continents away man!

Great to see you are well and taking care of business.

Keep breathing and walking until you find yourself in the car and on the way home!

Peace,
Amani

Dan, glad everything went well and I wish you a speedy recovery and a long healthy life. I know that Jill and the kids want you around for a long time. If you want to do some recovery time on the beaches of South Florida, just let me know.

Anyway, kick back, relax, and get some rest.

Kiel is 1.5 times as far as Key West from Houston as the plane flies, though your friend from Kuwait definitely has us all beat by a mile. Actually, by many MANY miles. But, we all wish you a speedy and complete recovery!! Joe (in Kiel)

Glad to see you're up and taking those first steps after a major surgery! That's a milestone. Keep resting and healing. Have you dipped into your Sedaris yet - or too sore still?
