Annual Check-Up

I don't think many people read this blog anymore, and that's okay. I'm only keeping it alive for those people who are newly diagnosed (or their caregivers), for when they are desperately googling for help. I've tried to link to the standard, good resources.

Anyhow, I arrived in Houston this morning, tests tomorrow, results Tuesday morning. My MOAS was January 8, 2010. So 2.67 years ago, or so.

I haven't been down here in a year. It is a bit unnerving, I guess, to be back. Probably always will be. But it is also a moment to reflect, in a positive way. I have to remember that!

Hi Dan, I still check in regularly to see if you have posted. I was sorry to read of your friend's tragic passing. I hope your check up goes well, you are a main inspiration to me, I keep focused on the fact that you recovered reasonably well and got back to work. That is my goal. T12 days and counting until I go to Sydney for my peritonectomy & HIPEC. I plan on getting through this and getting back to some sort of new normal. Wish me luck! Let me know how your check up goes, smiles across the miles, Juanita x

I follow you sporadically. I could knock on your door and that would be more fun, but it is always good to read your quiet intelligence. I'm glad I was with you through part of your journey.
